As you may, or may not know, most Playmobil sets are made in Europe! NOT MADE IN CHINA if you prefer. I try my best to avoid made in China products and I am always looking for new products and toys to add to my list of not made in China. To my surprise Playmobil are made in Europe. I bought 3 boxes for my son’s Christmas gifts and all were made in Europe: one from Spain, one from Malta and one from Germany. So Playmobil is a brand that I will keep on buying. You should know that a very tiny proprtion of the sets are still made in China, so check the boxes before you buy (or buy those you know for sure where they are made). Here’s the 3 sets we got, all made in Europe:
After 3 years of total inactivity on Hubpages, I finally published a first page there (make that two). Yes, really I did. For some reason I have never felt at home on Hubpages and was finding the platform a bit daunting. But for the “not put your eggs in the same basket” reason I decided to publish a couple of pages there. That will allow me to backlink some squidoo lenses at the same time. Both pages are about toys not made in China. I have many Squidoo pages on that topic, so lots of interlinking. I am a bit fed up with squidoo and all the cheating and gaming going on there.
Now, Hubpages. To tell the truth, publishing there is quite easy. Easier and much more user friendly than Squidoo. I didn’t get any warning about being “overly promotional” (I heard that Hubpages is rather strict on that and was afraid that linking to my own Squidoo stuff would send red signals). The pages look clean and professional.
As for backlinks I will have to be a little more active there because to get “do follow” links you need a profile score of 75 and individual hubs of 40 or more. Seems rather easy with unique content, a bit of traffic.
