I love those WWII painted airplane noses. True pieces of art. I love the topics, and no it’s not only pinup girls, and the messages. As a collector of all sorts of thing, I could easily start collecting vintage photos of WWII airplane nose art. But I won’t because I do have enough “stuff” to collect! Still, I enjoy browsing photos and books on the topic.
Historical Media are specialized in World War II photos, documents and collectibles and they do have quite often airplane nose art photos for sale. especially in the “single photos” listing. Unfortunately, no search box so it’s good old browsing. I bought from them YEARS ago, when they were still selling on eBay (bought some WWII France related photos).
