I love the amazon wishlist. If you have an amazon account for buying maybe you are already using this feature to make lists of potential gifts for friends and family, or to keep track of what you want to order next.
I found a use for squidoo as well! We all do it: look for good products that will fit well in our lenses. Every time I make a new lens or update an older one, I check Amazon. Often I end up straying away and find products that would do so well on another lens. But no time to do any other updates. What I would do before, is drag the link to my bookmarks where it would be buried forever in the mess my bookmark bar has become.
Now? I add each product I find to my “for squidoo” amazon wishlist! Once in a while, I add these products to my lenses and delete them from the list. This is quite effective, and I find that over time, the quality and “on topic” aspect of my featured products have increase. I shop often on Amazon for the family and every time I run across something that scream “squidoo” I add it to my list.
Using the wishlist is easy. Log into your account. On each product page, you have the possibility to add the product to your wishlist (image 1).
Then from the wishlist page, you can access all your wishlists and the products you saved on them. You can delete them, move them to another list, create new list. There is even a wishlist extension for Chrome (image 2).
Using Amazon wishlist help me save time overall, compare to what I was doing before. Considering that thousands of new products are added daily on Amazon, it’s an effective way to compile list of products for later use on squidoo. And that way I don’t have to sulk about the pitiful state of my bookmark bar!

What a great tip Nathalie

I love this!! I am always looking for ways to save time and stay organized. This is just great! thank you
Great idea, Indeed! I always think I will remember a product, but I forget about it in a few days — this is wonderful!
Fabulous idea! I use wish lists but not specifically for Squidoo. Thanks for sharing!
This is a brilliant idea. Never thought about it. And you are right! Often time we come across a great lens idea looking around Amazon. I bookmark them and bam they are gone for good.. With your idea, they are all in 1 place and we can get access at any time
I downloaded Amazon Wish List a couple of months ago, but never thought of using it in this way – good thinking, Batman – I shall certainly do this!
I never thought to use the Amazon Wishlist like this, good thinking.
